Share Tips Intraday Trading


The FIIs on Thursday stood as net seller in both equity and debt. Gross equity purchased stood at Rs 3,087.1 Crore and gross debt purchased stood at Rs 196.8 Crore, while the gross equity sold stood at Rs 3,133.2 Crore and gross debt sold stood at Rs 1,688.4 Crore. Therefore, the net investment of equity and debt reported were Rs (46.1) Crore and Rs (1,491.6) Crore respectively.

Top traded volumes on NSE Nifty – DLF with total traded volume of 20,797,536, followed by Suzlon Energy with 12,769,473, JP Asso with 12,149,630, IDFC with 11,918,707 and Hindalco with 11,916,127.

On BSE, total number of shares traded was 26.86 Crore and total turnover stood at Rs 3,544.43 Crore. On NSE, total number of shares traded were 65.17 Crore and total turnover was Rs 11,695.73 Crore.

On NSE Future and Options, total number of contracts traded in index futures was 606179 with a total turnover of Rs 15,626.03 Crore. Along with this total number of contracts traded in stock futures were 543125 with a total turnover of Rs 14,282.21 Crore. Total numbers of contracts for index options were 2584744 with a total turnover of Rs 71,903.45 Crore and total numbers of contracts for stock options were 133271 and notional turnover was Rs 3,719.76 Crore.

Today, Intraday nifty would have a support at 5,489 and resistance at 5,582 and BSE Sensex has support at 18,335 and resistance at 18,640.

On the global markets front, most of the major markets in Asia were closed. However, the Nikkei225 declined by 0.25% at 10,431.36.

European markets, which opened after the Indian market were trading on a mixed note. Key benchmark indices like – CAC 40 was trading lower by 0.95% at 4,027.98 and FTSE 100 declined by 0.20% at 5,988.30. On the flipside, in Frankfurt, DAX index was trading up by 0.13% at 7,192.92.

The BSE Realty was at 2,276.0 up by 86.03 points or by (3.93%). The main gainers were DLF (7.42%), HDIL (6.37%), Orbit Corp (4.80%), Indiabulls Real Est (4.36%) and Godrej Prop (3.71%).

The BSE CG index was at 13,390.47 up by 328.05 points or by (2.51%). The main gainers were Usha Martin (5.8%), L&T (3.72%), BHEL (2.59%), Lakshmi Mach (2.43%) and Punj Lloyd (1.97%).

On the corporate front, shares of National Aluminium Company Ltd rose 3.11% at Rs 420.80 following reports that the company has increased the price of aluminium by nearly 5% to about Rs. 1.21 lakh per tonne with effect from 1st February 2011.
