Intraday Stock Trading Tips Trial


At 09:39 IST, the BSE Sensex was trading down by 104.91 points or (0.55%) at 18.873.41 and the NSE Nifty was trading lower by 33.20 points or (0.58%) at 5,659.

The BSE Mid Cap was trading down by 7.53 points or (0.11%) at 7,158.78 while the BSE Small Cap was trading lower by 17.87 points or (0.20%) at 8,883.80.

Gainers from the BSE Sensex pack were Bajaj Auto up by (1.17%) at Rs. 1,335.30 followed by Wipro by (1%) at Rs. 479.85, Hero Honda by (0.83%) at Rs. 1,777.35, Reliance Infra by (0.37%) at Rs. 724.05 and M&M by (0.29%) at Rs. 753.30.

Losers from the BSE Sensex pack were Tata Motors down by (2.39%) at Rs. 1,165.05 followed by Sterlite Industries by (1.92%) at Rs. 178.50, Maruti Suzuki by (1.30%) at Rs. 1,255.75, SBI by (1.23%) at Rs. 2,477.90 and RIL by (1.17%) at Rs. 970.

The Overall market breadth was negative as 578 stock were advancing while 939 stocks declined and 59 remained unchanged on BSE.

In the Asian front, almost all the major indices were trading lower as the Hang Seng, Shanghai Composite, Nikkei 225, Seoul Composite and Taiwan Weighted declined by 1.30%, 1.32%, 1.15%, 0.53% and 0.26% respectively.

The BSE Metal index was at 16,637.01 down by 185.58 points or by (1.10%). The main losers were SAIL down by (1.95%) at Rs. 166.10 along with Sterlite Industries by (1.92%) at Rs. 178.50, JSW Steel by (1.98%) at Rs. 1,028.40 and Sesa Goa by (1.40%) at Rs. 319.30.

The Market breadth, indicating the overall strength of the market, was negative. On BSE out of total shares traded 2,501 shares advanced were 1,065 while 1,346 shares declined and 90 were unchanged.

As per NSE, top losers were GAIL (down by 3.05%), Sterlite (down by 2.53%), PNB (down by 2.33%), ITC (down by 2.28%), Tata Motors (down by 2.10%), ONGC (down by 2.04%) and Ranbxy (down by 1.83%) are the major losers from the pack along with others.

At 11.40 AM BSE SENSEX was at 18,885.93 down by 92.39 points or by 0.49% and the NSE Nifty was at 5,726.20 down by 2.55 points or by 0.04%.

The BSE MIDCAP was at 7,160.64 down by 5.67 points or by 0.07% while the BSE SMALLCAP was at 8,883.00 down by 18.67 points or by 0.21%.The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Sterlite (Rs. 177.30, 2.58%), Tata Motors (Rs. 1166.00, 2.31%), ITC (Rs.171.20, 2.19%), ONGC (Rs. 1136.05, 1.85%) and RIL (Rs. 967.50, 1.43%) among others.

Losers from the BSE Sensex pack are were Tata Motors by (1.79%) at Rs. 1,172.00, Maruti Suzuki by (1.52%) at Rs. 1,253.00 followed by SBI down by (1.45%) at Rs. 2472.20, Sterlite Inds by (1.43%) at Rs. 179.4, and ITC down by (1.40%) at Rs. 173.10.

The BSE Bankex index was at 11,948.56 down by 105.26 points or by (0.87%). The main losers were SBI down by (1.45%) at Rs. 2472.20 followed by Canara Bank down by (1.49%) at Rs. 572.05, ICICI Bank by (1.26%) at Rs. 1,010.60 and Axis Bank by (1.17%) at Rs1,266.00.

Losers from the BSE Sensex pack are Sterlite industries down by (2.61%) at Rs. 177.25 followed by ITC down by (2.59%) at Rs. 171, ONGC by (2.41%) at Rs. 1,129.55, RIL by (2.31%) at Rs. 958.85, Cipla by (1.99%) at Rs 344.50 and Tata Motors by (1.72%) at Rs 1,173.


The BSE Oil & Gas index was at 9,585.56 down by 231.64 points or by (2.36%). The main losers were Gail India down by (3.82%) at Rs. 450.50 along with HPCL by (2.80%) at Rs. 349.50, Petronet LNG by (2.53%) at Rs. 128.80 and RIL by (2.35%) at Rs. 958.45.

The BSE FMCG index was at 3,573.18 down by 58.61 points or by (1.61%). The main losers were United Spirits by (4.20%) at Rs. 1,265 along with ITC by (2.45%) at Rs. 171.25, Godrej Consumer by (1.92%) at Rs. 406.90 and United Breweries by (1.11%) at Rs. 466.05.
